Supporting Parents Through Infancy

One Diaper at a Time!

“I work with pregnant women and families that want to feel empowered and prepared for the transition to parenthood, and families that want to feel supported postnatally. I enable them to rest, recover and bond with their newborn and find joy and peace in the process!"

Meet Your Doula

Hi, my name is Cindy Lelea.  My mission is to empower parents by preparing them for the first months with their newborn and beyond. I help families with the necessary support, evidence-based information, and resources they need to navigate through the exciting and often exhausting journey into parenthood to help foster independence in their innate abilities to nurture and care for their newborn!

As a DONA certified Postpartum Doula, I will create a personalized plan that works for you and your budget. From breastfeeding and baby care support, to mother's recovery support, to overnight support, to healthy meal preparation and relaxation techniques, to virtual support, to sibling support and more, I am equipped and excited to guide you into parenthood.

The Value of Postpartum Doula Support

"Shortly after giving birth, a mother goes through a myriad of physical, hormonal, social and psychological changes, all of which are exacerbated by sleep deprivation and the many challenges of learning to care for her newborn while simultaneously trying to recover from labor and delivery. The postpartum period is a crucial time for a mother to accept all the help and support that she can get; however, most expecting mothers don't realize how demanding caring for a newborn can be." . . .

What Clients Say

Bringing Cindy into our family for the first month as new parents was the best decision we made in setting ourselves up for a smooth start as a new family. Cindy caters her services to meet the needs of each individual family she cares for depending on what they need most. For us, she shared valuable insights on breastfeeding, sleep, baby care, resolving fussiness, and postpartum care, she made delicious snacks and meals that promoted my recovery and kept us fed, she was a helping hand with our newborn, made sure our furson got some attention, spent 1-1 time with me listening to my worries and concerns (usually while getting one of her amazing footrubs!), and helped ensure I had opportunities to recover and reconnect with my husband.

Cindy brings a wealth of knowledge from her training and personal experience and has the biggest heart. We truly felt that she was part of our family and always felt cared for. Our only regret was that it wasn't longer! At the end of our time together, we felt confident as new parents, well recovered from the first weeks of survival mode, and that we had a lifetime friend of the family nearby. Cindy will be one of our first calls if we are blessed with a second child.
